How is it already May, and half way through May at that!? We celebrated my son finishing his first year of pre-school this week! I don't even want to think about the fact that someday I will have to celebrate him finishing high school one day! We've got a long way to go before then though, so I'll just be over here soaking it all in, and doing everything I can to keep him little.

Earlier this year I headed out to visit some family in Arizona, and also to capture this beauty's senior pictures! I was so excited to get out and shoot in the desert. I grew up in the desert, and there is just nothing quite as beautiful to me. 

We had a fun evening exploring downtown Phoenix and all the beautiful murals to choose from for some interesting backdrops. Then we headed way out to the mountains and desert for golden hour, and a sunset straight out of a painting!
